    The Indusbello Cone Indicator Radiographic Positioner is used to acquire intraoral dental radiographs, making the process faster and more accurate. It is indicated for both periapical and interproximal radiographs.

    All parts can be autoclaved at temperatures up to 135°C, including the jar that comes with the kit. The parts of the Indusbello Positioner Kit help to obtain accurate and efficient periapical radiographs in your clinical treatments.

    CONTENT 

    The kit consists of an autoclavable pot containing four radiographic positioners, namely:

    • A positioner for interproximal radiographs of posterior teeth on both sides (Bite Wings)
    • Three positioners for periapical radiographs, one (A) for periapical radiographs of the upper posterior teeth on the right side and lower posterior teeth on the left side; one (B) for periapical radiographs of the upper posterior teeth on the left side and lower posterior teeth on the right side; and one (C) for periapical radiographs of upper and lower anterior teeth.

    INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

    Positioners for periapical radiographs :

    Periapical radiographic positioners should be assembled by fitting the orientation ring to the positioner stem and the bite device into the depression next to the film holder. Then, select the radiographic positioner according to the dental group to be radiographed. Insert the radiographic film between the plates of the film holder, holding it in position. Take the assembly (positioner with radiographic film) to the patient’s mouth, centering it on the region of interest.

    Ask the patient to occlude in the bite device, keeping the assembly in position. Position the cylinder of the X-ray machine aligned with the orientation ring of the positioner. Shoot the X-ray machine.

    Positioner for bitewing radiographs:

    The radiographic positioner is ready to use. Insert the radiographic film between the film support plates, keeping it in position. Place the assembly (positioner with radiographic film) in the patient’s mouth, centering it on the region of interest. Ask the patient to occlude on the bite flap, keeping the assembly in position. Position the cylinder of the X-ray machine aligned with the positioner’s orientation rod. Shoot the X-ray machine.
