- USE INSTRUCTIONS
- X-RAY POSITIONER: Set of radiographic
positioners made of sterilizable material.
Positioners allow quick and practical
performance of periapical and interproximal
radiographs. - INDICATIONS: Indicated for performing
intraoral, periapical, and interproximal
radiographs to assist in clinical assessment
and planning. - COMPOSITION: Non-toxic polyacetal,
polycarbonate, pigment and silicone. - INSTRUCTION FOR USE: Identify the region you
want to x-ray. Select the fixation device
according to your digital sensor model. Attach
the fixator to the sensor, in a horizontal position
for periapical and interproximal radiographs of
the posterior teeth and in a vertical position for
periapical radiographs of the anterior teeth. For
interproximal radiographs, the sensor must be
adjusted in height so that it is centered in
relation to the bite wing. To obtain periapical
and interproximal radiographs, position the
receiver centering the tooth group of the
region of interest and ask the patient to
occlude in the bite block (for periapical
radiographs) or in the bite wing (interproximal
radiographs), keeping the positioner stabilized.
Align the X-ray machine cylinder with the
positioner rod. - THIS PACKAGE CONTAINS: 1 Positioner “A” for
posterior teeth (upper left side and lower right
side); 1 Positioner “B” for posterior teeth (upper
right side and lower left side); 1 “C” positioner
for anterior teeth (upper and lower); 3 Bite
Devices; 1 Bite Wings (positioner for
interproximal radiography); 4 Rings; 18
radiographic sensor fasteners; 1 Indusbello
exclusive autoclavable pot. ATTENTION: The
sensor is not included with the product. - CLEANING, DISINFECTION AND STERILIZATION:
Use enzymatic detergent in ultrasonic vats, as
instructed by the manufacturers. Use 0.2%
peracetic acid solution for 10 minutes. After
visual inspection, pack the product in suitable
packaging for sterilization in an autoclave by
moist heat, with a temperature between 121ºC
and 135ºC and with a cycle time as directed by
the autoclave manufacturer. - PRECAUTIONS: Product suitable for professional
use. Sterilize before use. - WARNINGS: Follow the instructions for use.
Considering the different models and
commercial brands of digital radiographic
sensors, among the 18 fixation devices
contained in this package, two are expected to
be compatible with the dimensions of your
digital sensor, one for sensor use in horizontal
position and another for sensor use in the
horizontal position. - EXPIRING DATE: 05 years from manufacturing
date in a non-violated package. - STORAGE: Keep the product in a designated
and closed cabinet protected from dust and
insects. - DISPOSAL: This product disposal should be
done according to the current local

Instructions for use of the Cone Indicator Digital radiographic positioner
- Identify the region you want to radiograph. Select the attachment device according to the model of your digital sensor. Attach the attachment to the sensor, in a horizontal position for periapical and interproximal radiographs of posterior teeth and in a vertical position for periapical radiographs of anterior teeth.
- For bitewing radiographs, the sensor must be adjusted in height so that it is centered in relation to the bite wing.
- To obtain periapical and interproximal radiographs, position the receiver centering the dental group of the region of interest and ask the patient to occlude in the bite block (for periapical radiographs) or in the bite wing (interproximal radiographs), keeping the positioner stabilized.
- Align the X-ray machine cylinder with the positioner rod.

Why does the set come with 18 sensor fasteners instead of just the two I need?
A: We started selling the set with 18 digital sensor fasteners (9 vertical and 9 horizontal) to increase the chances of one being compatible with the size of your sensor, thus functioning as a “universal” kit. This was necessary given the large number of sensor models available on the market, in some cases with variations according to the model or batch of the sensor. Therefore, with 18 fasteners, the chance of one fitting your sensor is very high, which avoids inconvenience for the customer of having to order and wait for the fastener to be replaced, for example.
I use a phosphor storage plate instead of radiographic film. Should I buy the conventional positioner (cone indicator) or the digital one (Digital Cone Indicator)?
